This Privacy Policy describes how Zimmerman Web Works LLC ("Zimmerman Web Works", "we", "us") collects and uses personal information through this website and while working with clients. We're a two-person family studio, so the people reading your information are the same people building your website.
1. What we collect
- Contact details you give us. When you book a consultation, call us, or message us through a project portal, we collect what you provide: your name, business name, phone number, email address, and anything you tell us about your business.
- Project information. Content, images, and account details you share with us so we can build and maintain your website.
- Basic technical information. Like most websites, our server logs record requests, including IP addresses, to keep the site secure and working. We use session cookies to run the site; we don't use advertising trackers.
2. How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry and schedule your consultation.
- To communicate with you about your project and account, by phone, email, or text message.
- To build, host, and maintain your website.
- To invoice you and keep required business records.
- To keep this website secure.
We don't sell personal information, and we don't use it for third-party advertising.
3. Text messaging (SMS) privacy
If you give us your phone number, we may text you about your project and account as described in our SMS terms. Here is how we handle that information:
Zimmerman Web Works LLC does not share mobile numbers, text messaging originator opt-in data, or consent with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Mobile information may be shared only with subcontractors and service providers that support the delivery of SMS services, such as messaging platforms, telecommunications providers, or customer support vendors. This information is used solely to provide and operate the messaging service.
All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent. This information will not be shared with any third parties.
You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, and get help by replying HELP or emailing hello@zimmermanweb.works.
4. When we share information
We share personal information only when it's needed to do the work:
- Service providers. Companies that help us run the business, such as hosting infrastructure, email, and our messaging platform, receive only what they need to provide their service to us.
- Legal requirements. If the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our clients, or others.
- Business transfer. If the studio is ever sold or merged, your information would transfer with it, under this same policy.
That's the whole list. We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
5. How long we keep it
We keep inquiry and client information for as long as we're working together, or as long as we need it to answer your inquiry, plus whatever period the law requires for business records. If you'd like something deleted sooner, ask and we'll tell you plainly what we can remove.
6. Your choices
- Opt out of text messages any time by replying STOP.
- Ask us what information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, by contacting us below.
- Decline to provide information; some services just won't work without a way to reach you.
7. Children
Our website and services are for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the date at the top.
